We're starting out with Ivy's teen transitioning, for which she chose this particularly hideous outfit:

Good gods, what were you thinking girl?

All the neighbourhood kids were invited for Ivy's birthday party. Hannah was particularly pleased to have someone to talk to who wasn't related to her.

She gets along really well with Ivy, and the two hit best friend status soon enough.

Ivy rolled Knowledge as her aspiration, following her parents' footsteps. Her LTW is to become Chief of Staff, so I'll need to unlock the Medicine career for that. So far not a sniffly nose in sight, though :(
She can start studying in advance though, so here she is plowing through a thick Physiology book.

Rose's time was focused on learning everything there is to learn, which finally paid off with a fulfilled LTW! She's the first in the hood to do so (Violet got her lifetime platinum from a genie wish). It made her quite boring to play for a while as all she did was power through the skills, but now she's got all the free time she could ever want to do whatever she pleases.

Teddy joined the swiftly growing group of elders in the neighbourhood. They grow up so quickly :(

Moving on to the other branch of the Babbling family tree, where Nate and Anna are kept busy with their burgeoning business. The Four Corners practically runs itself, as Sims just visit to hang out and pay a modest entry fee. It's been shooting up the business ranks, and hopefully it will reach that fabled 10th rank soon enough, so Nate can start the business emporium he's always dreamed of.

Not that running a pub in The Sims is such hard work. You're getting fleeced there, Nate.
Four Corners is the ideal place for some townie spotting, so let's have a look at some of the regulars.

Petronella, whose face and elf ears I adore :)

Lisette, who knows quite a lot of the playables. She always loses at poker, but that never stops her from trying. Bit of a gambling problem there.

Nicodemus' counterpart, Balthazar the Good Wizard! I love that he spawned with elf ears.

During downtime at the Four Corners, Nate and Anna make their own entertainment. Anna loves performing on the stage, and has maxed her creativity skill already. Nate's not that artistically inclined, but he loves to listen to her and dance along with the tunes.

The downside of being out at your business all day: when one of the cleanbots goes haywire, there's noone around to turn it off.
Sheesh, that must smell.

Over at the Button residence, Liam's been making waves in the journalistic community with his reports about the wacky shenanigans in Riverside Hollow. It's a shame that hardly anyone believes that what he writes is true, but they eat it all up anyway. He's determined to prove that what he writes is true, as such a revelation would be a career maker for him.

Meanwhile, Kate has been dealing with different kinds of waves. She's finally reached that Golden Fishing badge, which means she can enter the Oceanography career! She spends a lot of time at the riverside, catching specimens for her to catalogue and study.

In the evenings, they make their own entertainment :) Were those babychimes I heard..?
Davin was boring. The End.
