BaCC Week 10: The Babbling Family
Last week, Nate became Sim Nation's first zombie Business Tycoon. Doo Peas Corporation is now mostly run by his underlings, which gives him more time to focus on his family (while the money keeps rolling in merrily, of course).
The Babbling's homelife is busy and hectic, with three adoptive children running around, but Anna wouldn't have it any other way.

Week 9: The Babbling Family
Last week Theodore introduced his daughter Ivy to the only other alien hybrid in town, Bo Nadhira. He's hoping that bringing them together could be the start of introducing a stable alien hybrid population on this planet.

Ivy and Bo have become fast friends during the time they've spent together, as they're both questing for more knowledge. Ivy has taken on the medical care of Riverside Hollow and is ever looking for new cures and treatments, while Bo is an aspiring scientist whose interests range from space travel to robotics.

BaCC Week 8: The Babbling Family
Theodore Babbling has fulfilled his lifetime ambition of becoming a Mad Scientist. With his life's work in science completed, he has time to spend on other projects. Projects such as finding out exactly where he came from, and how.

He's found a couple of guides on the internet that gave tips on attracting aliens. One of them, by a certain J. Smith, was particularly helpful. He's been searching the heavens every night for a whole week now, trying to signal his distant (in more than one sense) relatives.

BaCC Week 7: The Babbling Family
The Babblings are not the most sociable of families, always having concentrated on the gathering of knowledge and skills. They've always been there to help out the town though, Rose through her skills in mechanics and engineering, and Teddy through his numerous inventions and research.  Week Seven started off with an achievement to crown Teddy's career in science: he finally made it to Mad Scientist, fulfilling his Lifetime Want. A windfall with one of his inventions netted him a nice §70k shortly after, of which he sent §50k to Felix, instructing him to use the funds to build a Research Center for the town, under his supervision.

BaCC Week 6: The Rest
Seeing as I was able to only recuperate a couple of pictures for the rest of the week, I decided to lump them together into one update. Week 7 is going to have sparse pictures as well, but hopefully after that I can go back to properly documenting things.

We're starting out with Ivy's teen transitioning, for which she chose this particularly hideous outfit:

Good gods, what were you thinking girl?

BaCC Week 5: The Babbling Family
Teddy and Rose have settled into a routine by now, Teddy all wrapped up in his scientific research, while Rose has set out to learn everything there is to know in life. (Her LTW since switching to Knowledge as her aspiration has become to max out 7 skills.) They've built a completely new house on their plot of land, demolishing the old wooden shack and putting up a brick structure, with proper insulation. While not the height of luxury, it's a very comfortable home.

Despite getting on in years, Teddy and Rose are definitely the most lovey-dovey couple in the neighbourhood. I don't know whether it's Rose's Romance past, or the fact that they only have one kid to care for and thus have more time for eachother.

BaCC Week 4: The Babbling Family
The Babblings are slightly more on themselves than the rest of the neighbourhood is. They spend most of their time studying and trying to invent useful things for the town. Rose's new LTW is to max out 7 skills, so she has her nose buried in the books quite often. Teddy - or Theodore as he's actually called, does anyone even remember that? :) - busies himself with his research and is trying to get published in one of the leading scientific magazines in SimNation.

BaCC Week 3: The Other Babbling Family
Nate and Anna have moved out into a house of their own. There just wasn't enough space in the old house, what with Ivy and Rose moving in with Teddy.
Teddy has been a bit anxious about Nate moving out, but Nate pointed out that he is the older brother around here. He can take care of himself just fine. It's not because he's differently alive that he's the equivalent of a child that needs looking after. Maybe it was like that the first months after he came back from the dead, but he feels a lot more like his old self nowadays.

Besides, having his own house means more privacy for some hot robot smooching.

BaCC Week 3: The Babbling & Greengrass Family
Another joint update today, as the events in these families affected eachother. I've been experimenting with playing the rota in half-weeks, to see if it works for me. Playing-wise it's great, but it does give for some muddled updates :)

Starting off this update is Rose Lovelace, who has something to tell Teddy Babbling.

Rose: "Uh, Teddy? Meet your daughter..."

BaCC Week 2: The Babbling Family
Nate and Teddy have settled well into the new community, despite Nate's feuding with Davin Greengrass. With the town finally having electricity available, Teddy has been busier than ever tinkering with his robotic inventions. He's told his brother he's working on a surprise for him. Nate privately has his doubts about any surprises Teddy wants to foist on him. Bringing him back from the dead was a bit of a surprise as well, after all.
His little Shack'o'Bots is still regularly visited by its single customer, the Garden Club lady. Nate supposes she must have some sort of short term memory disorder, as she keeps buying the same toy robots over and over again. He's been discussing this problem with Felix, who at least seemed to understand that if their settlement wants to become a real town, they'll need to give people a reason to come here. Then Nate can start up a real business, instead of playing at one.

Nate: "Oooonee toy rrroooboot? Eeeex'lent choice ma'aaam. That be fiiifteeeeen simooooleons pleaaaase."
