So their old place got updated from wooden shack to homely cottage, right in time for autumn to come around. I tried to be as conservative as possible and not dip into the town funds too much, and I think the whole thing cost them around 40K to build and furnish from scratch.

Felix finds himself worrying more often lately. Lily and he are getting on in their twilight years, and their children still seem so young... He's afraid that when he and Lily finally meet the Grim Reaper, they'll be too young to make it without parental guidance.

He worries especially about the twins. When he and Lily had children later in life, they were happy and excited, but now he's afraid they left it too late, and soon he'll be gone without having spent enough time with them.

At least he has faith that Flora will be able to take care of herself and her siblings. She's got a practical mind and a no-nonsense attitude that reminds him of his mother.

He's discussed it with Lily, but she doesn't seem as anxious as he is. She's sure that even if they're gone, her sisters and the rest of the community will make every effort to help out and guide their children.
She's spending less time trying to sell her pottery, and more just creating things for the joy of it. In her own way, she's powering down much as he is.

Felix has deserved taking it a bit slower, as he was finally elected Mayor of Riverside Hollow! I was starting to fear he wouldn't get there before shuffling off his mortal coil (which is a fear I have for the entire elder population, to be honest. They haven't been extremely career oriented, and it shows.)

Flora has always been inspired by her dad, and takes full advantage of his experience to learn the skills she'll need to follow him up in the Political career.

The days are getting colder and colder, and a flu epidemic has been sweeping Riverside Hollow. Fox is the only one of the Fenwick family to fall ill though, despite Lily's efforts at bundling up her children against the autumn cold.

Freesia doesn't get as much as a sniffly nose. She's always been more boisterous than her twin, and apparently more robust as well.

Time for the twin's birthday! The party was limited to the adults of Riverside Hollow (except for the Greengrasses, who didn't show up for some reason). The population is getting too big to throw hood-wide parties, as the lot slows down to a crawl. It's a bit sad, but the close-knit settlers the sims in the community used to be are slowly drifting apart.

Freesia rolled Knowledge as her aspiration, and immediately declared her dream to become a Space Pirate one day.
Personality: Neat 10, Outgoing 8, Active 10, Serious 3, Grouchy 3

Fox rolled Family, which suits his gentler personality. All he wants from life is to get married, settle down, and live a happy family life until he can celebrate his Golden Anniversary.
Personality: Sloppy 2, Outgoing 7, Active 5, Serious 4, Nice 7

Felix is still the life of any party, socialising with everyone and making sure they're all having a good time.

Random party shot of Arthur :)
Arthur: "Oh hi!" :D

Nate is still pleased every time Felix displays his ultimate party trick.

And look who's howling along! Freesia inherited her father's werewolf genes. As a Knowledge sim, she's extremely excited about the whole werewolf business and couldn't be happier to be hairy.

Their shared lycanthropy has definitely brought Felix and Freesia closer together. Felix finally has someone to share the nighttime hours with, and Freesia loves horsing around with her dad.

Fox didn't inherit any magical genes at all, which sort of makes him the runt of the family, I suppose. He seems to be quite content with his normal Sim status though, and while he loves his family dearly, he has no real desire to be part of their supernatural shenanigans.
And thus concludes another week for the Fenwicks. Thanks for reading :)
