BaCC Week 7: The Button Family
The Buttons are the only family for which I haven't found a 'voice' yet. I play them like I normally play families: going through the motions of daily life, without thinking too much about their storyline. I'll have to try and remedy that at some point, as I don't want them to become 'that boring family'.  Their greatest achievement so far has been becoming the most active family on the Woohoo front. These two are at it like rabbits every free moment they get.

Which inevitably resulted in Kate getting knocked up. I wasn't planning on letting them have babies quite so soon, but sometimes the game makes up its own mind. She'd only just started her career in the Oceanography field as well. I'm reluctant to let her continue to go to work (as I do for a lot of my pregnant ladies), seeing as she's working as a Sea Lice Research Assistant. Not exactly the best environment for a pregnant woman.

Liam has worked his way up the Sim City Chronicle corporate ladder, and is in his element as an Investigative Journalist. The founding of Riverside Hollow still fascinates him, as well as the supernatural events that take place here. He's been getting closer to Stephen Withergrass, using his friendship with the warlock's father Davin. Better be careful Liam...

It's not long before Kate gives birth to baby twins! Oh dear, I hadn't been counting on that one. They're a bit short on space already, and with Liam's long hours all the childcare will fall on Kate's shoulders.

Time flies by when you're desperately juggling the care of baby twins, and soon it's time for their toddler birthday. Time to introduce the newest inhabitants of Riverside Hollow! This little girl is Roxanne Button, who takes after her mum for facial features, but has Liam's dark skin.

Her brother Ryan looks a lot like his dad, but has a lighter skintone. And once again I've lucked out on the genetical lottery, it seems :)

They both love drawing with crayons (and eating them).

Being new parents is taking its toll on Kate and Liam. They're both struggling to keep up their motives while taking care of their children, and teaching them all the skills a toddler needs.

On top of that, Liam has been suffering these strange accidents as of late... Coincidence, or someone trying to keep him from finding out the truth about something rotten going on in the town of Riverside Hollow?
