Nate and Anna have been spending a lot of time and money on refurbishing their home to make it more suitable for a family. Anna took care of the nursery, and there might be a clue or two in there that she has plans for a couple more kids...

Meadow has been thriving under Anna's meticulous care. A Servo parent is about the easiest thing ever, as they have so few needs and can always go out for a quick recharge while the kids are having a nap.

The rest of the house hasn't been skimped on either, though. Nate has a very classic taste in interior design, and with the money rolling in nowadays he can afford to splurge on antiques.

He enjoys spending time with Meadow, even if he insists on discussing topics that go way over her head. Nate doesn't believe in babytalk.
Nate: "So with the numberrrs of last quarrrrterrr in, I think we can float Doo Peas Coporations on the marrrrket soon enough. I've been looking into prrrromising companies to eventually buy, as well. That should net me that last prrromotion!"

Congratulations, Nate! Making it to Business Tycoon unlocks the Business career for the entire town, providing much-needed jobs.
You'll get used to the helicopter noises soon enough.

Urged on by Anna, Nate has been making some more calls to the Adoption Agency. Seeing as Services are technically not unlocked yet, Nate has to bribe the Agency heavily for them to send out a child to such a remote town. One adoption is costing him §10.000 in bribes and other administrative fees.

Welcome to the Babbling family, Jia! She's a very shy toddler, but really playful as well.

Meadow loves having some company, and the two sisters get along very well. No sibling rivalry here, so far.

Birthday party time!

Way to photobomb that shot, Jia.

Meadow grew up very well, and looks like she'll be a pretty young woman some day. I created the adoption children myself, by breeding some of the sims I've downloaded, but I didn't check their adult looks. It'll be a surprise for me as well :)

Meadow wanted to plant some seeds, so Nate dug her a little garden in the backyard, where she grows tomatoes (badly).

She also seems to be quite the popular kid in school, bringing other kids over almost every day. Despite her parents not being very conventional. If by not very conventional you mean 'robot with potential destructive tendencies and brain-craving zombie'.
Meadow: "See? I told you my dad isn't scary at all!"
Emily: "Y-yeah. Totally." *scoots a bit further away*

Nate: "What do you think of this new drrrraperry I bought, darrrling? Magnificent, isn't it?"
Anna: "Anna thinks it's time for *bzzzt* a new baby."
Nate: "The fabrrric is simply... What, again?"

Looks like it. Soon the house will be filled with tots and Nate's wallet will be filled with dry air and bits of fluff. Anyway, meet Brandon, the Babbling's third child!

Despite his protestations, Nate is delighted to have a son, and constantly fusses over him. Brandon is very outgoing and playful, and requires a lot of attention. He's bound to be a handful when he grows a bit older.
Next up: The Buttons relocate!
