I have to say I love how their house turned out, both outside and inside. It looks quite modern (fitting, for a pair of scientists), but not reminiscent of the concrete shoebox style.

There's even space for an extensive hobby room for Rose, where she can tinker to her heart's content.

Ivy tutoring Bo with her medical practice dummy. She enjoys passing on the knowledge she's gained about the simmish body, and Bo is quite interested in finding out how the male body can accomodate alien babies.

They found some time in their busy schedules to get married as well :) It wasn't a grand affair, but Ivy's extensive family was invited and much merriment was made.

When I say extensive, I do mean extensive. Everyone in this picture is somehow related to everyone else, be it as relatives or in-laws. Except for Kate Button, who gatecrashed the party for some free champagne and cake.

Every evening party in Riverside Hollow seems to eventually include a game of hungry hungry werewolves. Thankfully there was plenty of cake to keep the three shifters well-fed (and stop any thoughts of having a nibble of the other guests).

The day after, Ivy found out she'd only just managed to avoid a shotgun wedding.

What's a Knowledge sim to do? Yep, grab a book and study about parenting.

Teddy showed up to haunt the new house. He doesn't seem to like it much, and takes his anger out on flicking the TV on and off a lot.

Bo brushing up his cleaning skill, whole Rose snoozes peacefully. Such a domestic little scene :)

The days flew past, and Ivy's time to give birth arrived. She's all excited about becoming a new mother (as her secondary aspiration is Family).

Ivy: "Look Bo! We've got a daughter. Isn't she just the most perfect little girl?"
Bo: "Are you kidding me?"

Bo: "She isn't green AND she doesn't even have black eyes! I've failed as a father! Failed!"
Stop being a jerk-ass Bo. Don't you think your family is a tad more important than your science project?
Bo: "Woe is meeeeee!"

At least Rose loves her granddaughter, who Ivy named Terra. She doesn't stop fussing over her, to the point where Ivy gently had to suggest that her help was more than welcome, but she'd appreciate it if she could get some time with her daughter as well.

Bo, on the other hand, hardly spends any time with his daughter at all. He's determined to bring alien genetics into the family, even if he has to signal the aliens and get impregnated himself.

Bo: "Come on, come on. Where are you guys?"

Bo: "...oh."

Bo: "Uuughghh... why did I think this was a good idea again?"

Rose: "Don't you think it's a bit strange that your husband has been constantly craving pancakes recently, dear?"
Ivy: "I guess he just likes pancakes."
Rose: "And that he's put on a bit of a paunch..."
Ivy: "From all those pancakes. What's your point?"

Bo: "Pancakes pancakes pancakes..."

Oblivious to her husband's pregnancy, Ivy threw a small party for Terra's toddler birthday.
Ivy: "Not too much cake for you, Bo. You've been getting a bit of a spare tyre."
Bo: "Aheh, right."

Terra as a toddler! She inherited Bo's nose, as far as I can tell, and it looks like she might have gotten his ears as well.

Terra is her mother's pride and joy...

... and her grandmother's, as well.

But it looks like her father has his own little pride and joy to favour. Bo gave birth to little Caelis in secret, but he won't be able to keep him a secret anymore.
Will Bo ever bond with Terra? What will Ivy think of her husband's alien infidelity? Find out next time :)
