Have you ever looked inside the bus that arrives for the carpool when you have a sim in a certain stage of the athletic career? I have, and now I kinda wish I hadn't.

That's some creepy stuff right there.
The Loste Family

What brought up that little trip to the twilight zone was Kristen's carpool. She's been shooting up in the ranks, and is actually fairly close to her LTW of becoming a Hall of Famer.

Her homelife has been improving considerably as well, as she's found love in the form of Kennedy Cox, who really doesn't look that bad with a makeover. They're both fortune sims, though I can't remember what career Kennedy is in. I need to make myself some sort of reference sheet to keep track of things like this.

Kennedy giving financial consulthing in his pyjamas. He's pretty much glued to the computer no matter his motives, and I'm considering making him quit his job, and take on financial consulting fulltime. Might get a bit boring though.

Kristen maxing out her bodyskill! I'm so glad that one is over and done with, as she was wandering around stinky and tired all the time.

With the stressfactor of working out removed, Kristen and Kennedy finally have time to start working on a family.

Kennedy: "I don't get it, you work out until you're close to fainting, and you still manage to get fat?"
Kristen: "I wonder whether I should give you the talk before I knock you out, or after."
The Grunts

Buck likes cleaning. He really likes cleaning. This is the face he rewards me with everytime I direct him to pick up a dirty plate or scrub the kitchen counters.
Buck: "I can go clean out the toilet next? Oh boy!"

Ripp's life in the Grunt household is decidedly less fun. His relationship with his dad is at an all-time low, and to add insult to injury, Buzz has the habit of smacking him around in front of Crystal.

He lets off steam by jamming on his guitar. Thanks to all his time spent playing it, he's managed to get a scholarship for his creativity skill. Not bad for a layabout like Ripp.

He and Buck get along quite well, and have taken to doing their homework together.

Buck practising his Cheesy Grin. It takes a lot of work, judging from the amount of time he spends in front of a mirror these days.

And the week ended with Ripp going off to join his brother and friends in college.
I took a lot more pictures in this household, but I can't find them for the life of me. Something must have gone wrong with Gadwin =/
The Beakers

Nervous has been spending the Beaker's hard-earned cash on the matchmaker. Not exactly money well spent, as she kept introducing him to university professors such as this fine specimen here.

Eventually, he did manage to meet someone, which he was very excited to tell everyone about.
Nervous: "So, I was just walking around on the sidewalk a bit, you know, to pass the time, and then suddenly there he was! I mean, it was amazing! Like... pre-destination or something!"
Loki: "I'm sorry. I think you've mistaken me for someone who gives a toss."
Benjamin Long: "Uhm, I'm sitting right here, you know."

Benjamin responds favourably to Nervous' flirtations. He looks a bit like a blond Kennedy Cox, come to think of it.
Loki: "Goddammit Nervous, get a bloody room, would you?!"

Circe is still working hard on her career. I was mistaken when I mentioned she's in the Oceanography career last update - she's actually a Natural Scientist. She just had a job as a Clam Wrangler at the time, which confused me.
Circe: "So THAT's where that went!"

Loki's been spending a lot of time with Freya, teaching her to walk and talk. Am I the only one who thinks he looks a bit disturbing in this shot? oO

Apparently Nervous had been sneaking up on the battlements to stargaze with Loki's telescope while I was busy directing Circe and Loki, because all of a sudden I was presented with a cutscene.

Oh dear. I'd intended to let Nervous adopt when he found someone to settle down with. Breeding him definitely wasn't on the menu.

He's not the only one with a bun in the oven though, as Circe is pregnant again as well. This neighbourhood was in dire need of some more Loki genes, after all. Sigh.

I'm not entirely certain what job Loki has in the science career nowadays, but it sure looks exciting.

Freya grew up, cake-less. I still fail at keeping track of birthdays :(
Yup, still a face that could crack mirrors. I fixed her eyebrows a bit when she got her makeover, as I still get confused by the upside-down eyebrow look.

The lab has become family time central recently, with all the Beakers hanging out in it. Kid's talking to their mum's belly is such a cute interaction to watch, even with a beauty like Freya.

Loki: "Sweetness, darling, light of my life, maybe this time you'll let me...?"
Circe: "Not if you'd like to continue life with all your limbs intact, Loki dearest."

Talk about a prodigy!

Circe has her second daughter, Skadi. You can't tell from the baby looks of course, but I had a sneaking suspicion that she'd be another female Loki clone.

Nervous is keen to practice his parenting skills on Skadi. He'll be popping out a little one soon enough himself, after all. If only you'd have left that damn telescope alone, Nervous ><

He's happy enough of course, being a family sim, especially since he's found someone to share his life with as well. He's been saving all the money he earns being a fast food shift manager to buy a ring for Benjamin.

Benjamin: "So run this past me again. They pollinated you? Like you're some kind of... some kind of flower?"
Nervous: "Yup."

Luckily, the whole alien pregnancy thing hasn't been a turn-off for Benjamin. That's Circe and Loki's bed they're in, by the way :P One can only imagine their reaction if they ever found out.

Benjamin doesn't get along with the rest of the family though. He already invoked the wrath of Loki by making sure he'll have to work harder if he wants a promotion in the science career.

Even little Freya bullies him.
Freya: "I don't think you want to go in there, mister."
Benjamin: "Well, I'll be..."
Freya: "Not if you want to keep all your limps!"
Benjamin: "...limps?"
Freya's Circe's daughter, allright, even if she's not completely sure on the correct terminology yet.

Nervous had his baby, a little green baby boy which he named Aldebaran. I changed Nervous' name earlier to his birthname, Specter, so Aldebaran wouldn't be saddled with 'Subject' as a family name. Besides, I think Olive would approve of her name living on.

Skadi grew up into a toddler, and as I feared, she's the spitting image of her big sister. Trust me, she's best seen from behind like that.

Circe and Loki being cute, during the sparse time they get to spend together.

Time for Aldebaran to grow into a toddler! I even managed a cake this time.

Okay, that's not totally hideous as I feared. Al inherited Nervous' sad puppy eyes though.

I swear, this house is some kind of toddler freakshow. (Okay, that's still kinda cute)

Nervous doesn't give a toss what his son looks like though, and to be honest, I'm not all that bothered either. Plastic Surgery is luckily available to iron out the more obvious kinks, and after that they've still got plenty of character left.

Freya and Skadi spending some playtime together. They could be twins, if you ignore the age difference. Or at least, once I fix Skadi's Lokibrows.

With a little one to take care of, and a partner to support him, Nervous has finally picked up the courage to leave the Beaker household and lead his own life. The Beakers will just have to get a maid or butler like everyone else.
There's nothing left for him in Strangetown, except unhappy memories, and Benjamin suggested they moved to his own town, Pleasantview.
That's Round 2 all finished. Once again, thank you for reading and commenting :) I do love to read you guys' thoughts and remarks! ^^
