Wow, I'm already on Round 3 (which has already been played completely in my game - and so has Round 4 for University. I have too much time on my hands O_O)

Starting off this round for Pleasantview are Don Lothario and Nina Caliente. Last round Don got a wad of simoleons through a chancecard, and together with what they saved up, they managed to buy a new house in the nicer part of Pleasantview. It's one of the pre-made bin houses, converted to suit them.

I tend to build for usability rather than prettiness, which I'm not that good at. But my Sims do manage to get around in their houses without blocking up the routes for everyone else, or getting stuck in the bathroom. :)



Nina's getting closer and closer to the end of her lifestage, and her quest for 10 woohoo's gets more and more frantic. Komei Tellerman is victim number 6 (number 5 was Joe Carr, who somehow evaded having his picture taken). I think he's quite attractive after his makeover. Those sideburns suit him.



Daniel Pleasant finally gives in to Nina's charms, making him number 7...



... and so does Chloe Curious, who's number 8.



Don's still steadily pottering around in the Slacker career, as I don't get to spend a lot of time on him while monitoring Nina's shenanigans.

Nina: "Does this have eggs in it? I'm really craving eggs."
Don: *Has been peeking in on Nina and Chloe, in case you can't tell by his face*



Old people need love too, and recently widowed Bella Goth is free to play the market again. I don't have any pics of it, but she was number 9.



Nina: "Yes I promise to love you forever and always and CAN WE GET UPSTAIRS NOW"
Kaylynn: *swoon*
Don: *Totally going to peek again*



And the maid makes ten. I'm SO glad that's over and done with. Nina's lucky, as any future Romance sim who rolls Woohoo with 10 Sims as their LTW is just going to have to suck it up ><



Nina's just about got enough energy left not to neglect Don, after which she collapsed in an exhausted heap. Were those some chimes I heard?



Yep! Nina's got Don's bun in the oven. Don transitioned to an elder, but is still quite the silver fox. Life at the Lothario household finally acquires a calmer pace.



Don dotes on his pregnant girlfriend. They're both not rolling any wants to get engaged or anything, and I don't I'll force them into a marriage. They can be a couple without a ring as well.



Yep, Nina's still hot when pregnant, according to Don. He's actually even more interested in her  nowadays, and if I let them, all they'd get up to all day would be snuggling, kissing, flirting and dancing.
Don still has his LTW to fulfill, which he'll hopefully do soon. I'm a bit worried about the kid though, Nina's not that far off from elderhood either. Hopefully they'll at least make it to teen before she dies =/


The Goths



The Goth's butler has become more of a family friend than manservant recently. Alexander and Bella like to invite him to join their games of billiards in the attic.



Allright, so maybe he's become a bit more than a family friend for Bella as well. But she's a Romance sim, and while she loved Morty, he's gone now. What's a lady to do?



Her old flame Daniel Pleasant isn't very interested in picking up where they left off, however.

Daniel: "Sorry Bella, but I'm trying to patch things up with Mary-Sue. Things which you ruined, if I recall correctly!"



Deprived of her favourite activities (at least when the Butler's not around), Bella puts her energy in other hobbies. She converted the attic space to a hobbyroom, where she spends her time sewing potholders and teddybears.



Time for Alex to move to college!

The Specters



Benjamin and Nervous arrived in Pleasantview. They already feel quite at home. :) I forgot to take pictures of their house, which is one of the pre-made Pleasantview lots. It's the white one with blue sideboards, which looks vaguely like a church (I think).



Nervous is enjoying having his own space, rather than having to live on the Beaker's terms. He loves playing games with his son. Can't fool that kid though, Nervous.



Nervous is too shy to introduce himself to his neighbours, so he's trying to get to know them through other means. Not that he's always very comfortable with what he finds out.

Nervous: :O



He's still working in the Culinary career, nowadays as a waiter in a fastfood restaurant. You've got to start somewhere when climbing up the social ladder after all. I've no idea why the skunk was following him around, but it looked rather cute :)



Benjamin's a Knowledge sim, and his LTW was to become a World Class Ballet Dancer. After I stopped snickering, I put him in the Dance career. Here he is practising his moves. I just had to give him that leotard :D



Homelife is peaceful and comforting for Nervous.

Benjamin: "While I admire your sharing nature, darling, I'd appreciate if you wouldn't share your food all over my face."



They got joined in a quiet ceremony in the backyard. They've pretty much got the same chins, seen from here. Nervous and Benjamin kissing probably resembles jousting quite a bit.



Birthday time for Aldebaran!



Nomnom, cake. I fixed Al's eyes a bit to make them less distorted. They're still very reminiscent of Droopy though.



After a makeover, sharing a cuddle with his dad.



Aldebaran's underwater-themed room. I just wanted to use those family fun stuff objects for once.



Al and Benjamin didn't have any relationship points together yet, as Ben isn't technically Aldebaran's father. So they've been spending time together to get to know eachother. I think Al's hair gets styled by his dad :P



Aldebaran's a nice sim, but he wanted to torment someone, and as I'd never seen that interaction before, I let him loose on poor unsuspecting Billie Broke, who came over after school.



Billie's not impressed...



... and retaliates! After they'd been horsing around a bit like that, their relationship actually went up. They're pretty good friends nowadays. Teasing girls: the kid's way of flirting?

The Curiouses



Sigmund and Carl transitioned into toddlers. Despite colour-coding them, I still can't tell them apart. I think Sigmund's the one that looks more like his mother, and Carl the one who takes after Vidcund more.

Marie: "Build those blocks, my minions! Build!"





D'aahwww :)



Time for Marie to grow up into a kid! Yay for cake and candles ^^



Here she is after her makeover, while having tea with Aldebaran Specter, who dropped by after school.

Marie: "You're not radioactive, are you? Only my dad keeps warning me against it..."



Vidcund makes sure to spend enough time with his children. His career has stalled a bit as he's got no time to study for those promotions, but being a father has it's own rewards.



Marie rolled the want to have a kitten for several days in a row, so I finally gave in to her. This is Oswald, the newest addition to the Curious family. His parents are Bonkers the adoption cat, and the only other cat in the neighbourhood at the moment, who I think is a stray.



He's just about the cutest little bundle of fluff :)



I had to change the carpet and the walls in the living room though, because I couldn't see him half of the time in that sea of grey.



My first sighting of Olive Specter in the wild! She's stealing the Curiouses' invisible newspaper. (I've no idea why that happens. The newspaper turning invisible when a sim steals it, that is.)



Cassandra: "I don't want you going out alone after dark, Marie. There's been word of some odd characters roaming around at night lately."



Sigmund and Carl grew up! I love the way they look. Vidcund and Cassandra's genetics work really well together. :)
