Something rather strange has been happening to Felix Fenwick, since arriving in this little scrap of Nowhere. Stranger than turning into a werewolf every night. People in this town look up to him. They come to him when they need advice or a private talk. Myra even dragged Davin and her friend Nate to his house one evening, and asked him if he couldn't sort out the differences between them. That one was a lost battle, really, but the fact that she came to him about it still thrills him a bit.

Even better was the impromptu party they all threw for him after the generator and water purifier had been started up. He protested that it was Rose Lovelace who did all the work, and Teddy Babbling had provided the parts for the project. All he had done was the organising really. But the Popularity Sim inside was cheering and hooting all the way.

He's come to like the little settlement, with its weirdos and oddballs. He feels needed here in a way he never felt in Sim City. And he's come to realise that he wants the settlement to be succesful, rather than using it as a way to pass the time until he's figured out how to de-wolf himself.

Being a werewolf isn't all that bad, anyway.

The only snag would be Lily. Well, not so much Lily, but the fact that she (or anyone else) doesn't know about his furry little problem. She's spending a lot more time at Felix' place lately, and he knows he'll have to tell her soon.

She's just such a sweet and innocent girl, he doesn't know how she'll cope with finding out.

They practically live together nowadays, as Lily spends more time at his house than with her sisters. She's even taken over his easle to paint. Not that he minds, he loves seeing her at work.

Davin dropped by to offer Felix some more produce.
Davin: "Tomatos, cucumbers and apples this time. We've been having a good harvest, the garden's really coming along. Though Myra reckons we'd still have a better crop if we moved out from underneath the trees..."
It's clear that this gesture will do nothing to change Lily's feelings about Davin, though :P

When Lily arrives at Felix' rather late one evening, she's in for a bit of a shock, as she catches Felix in the middle of a transformation!

After the initial panic, Felix manages to convince her that he's still very much himself as a werewolf, and that she's got nothing to be afraid of.

Except maybe getting even more whiskery kisses than she already did. :)
Lily: "Eeeeee that tickles!"

The fresh food really helps out with Felix' foodkicks when all wolfed out. It satisfies his ravenous hunger at night much better than the tinned food he brought along for the trip.

With his main worry about their relationship put at ease, Felix decides that maybe it's time for him and Lily to take it to the next level.

Of course she said yes :) Lily decides to move in with Felix, seeing as she's more or less living there already anyway. She's taught Rose how to cook and gave up on teaching Violet to clean, and promised she'd drop by regularly to check up on her sisters. But they're all grown up girls now, and she's got a right to her own life as well.

Seeing as Felix has trusted her enough to share his werewolf secret with her, Lily decides that it's safe for her to share her own.
Felix: "Oh, you're a witch? That's totally cool! Sure to come in handy as well, I bet."

Once in private, however...
Felix: "Oh gods oh gods I'm getting married to a WITCH!"
That's right boy-o, so you'd better behave yourself. So no, to take an utterly and totally random example, flirting with one of her sisters. Capiche?

Myra, Lily's best friend, came over to congratulate her on her engagement. Lily's simply delighted that she's pregnant again, claiming that two births so soon in the settlement is a sure sign of good luck.

Her spells work a treat for Myra's morning sickness as well.

Felix' hard work paid off (as well as religiously guarding the newspaper), and he reached the position of Campaign Manager! He can now work towards unlocked community lots and townies, for which he'll need to befriend someone with a home business.

Okay, maybe Nate's little Shack'o'Bots isn't much of a homebusiness, but for all intents and purposes it still counts. Felix explains that he'll need an advisor about doing business and stimulating commerce in their town.
Nate: "I gots ooonnnnne custmerrrr. We nee moooaarrrr custmerrrrs. Custmerrrs mean moaarrr mohneee."
Felix: "Yes, I got that far myself as well..."

I'm not sure what they're up to or what kind of plan Felix is suggesting, but Nate seems to be rather awed.

Wakey wakey, Lily. She's not 100% happy with the fact that her husband-to-be rarely shares her bed due to shambling around as a hairy monster at night. Or sheds hair all over the place. He's also been forbidden to howl indoors, if he wants to make a racket like that he can damn well do it outside.

Lily has tried to cast a spell to cure Felix from his lycantrophy, but it didn't seem to work. He shrugged and said he likes being a werewolf just fine, anyway. It gives him some time to have some fun after having worked all day.

Determined to help in some way, Lily has taken up pottery. She hopes if she can set up a little pottery shop, it'll help Felix with the whole stimulation of commerce thing he's on about a lot recently.

Alas, she's not very good at it.
Lily: "Ugh, why am I bothering with this? I could just conjure it from thin air..."
Because conjured things only last for about 24 hours in the hands of non-magical Sims, Lily. I doubt anyone would be happy if the ceramics they just bought went poof the next morning.

Why is the whole town gathered in Felix' backyard? I'll let you have three guesses.

Now the town finally has electricity, and phonelines have been installed, Felix and Lily could throw a wedding party for the entire town. They held the ceremony underneath the old cherry tree in the backyard.

Everyone agreed it was a lovely wedding. Almost fairytale-like.

The cutting of the cake signalled the start of the actual party!

Weddings have a way to shake up emotions in Sims, making already married couples smile in reminiscence, and new ones dream about it being them in front of the arch one day.
Teddy: "My dear lady, if I could have the honour of walking you towards the arch one day, I'd surely be the happiest Sim in existence."
Rose: "Oh, but I... I mean... That's so..." *blushes profusely*

Perhaps it was a bit of bad planning on Felix' part, or maybe he planned it all from the start, but he transformed somewhere halfway through the wedding party, in front of the entire town.
Arthur seems shocked, while Nate just seems to think 'cool!'.

Poor Rose went into shock at the sight of...

Oh, she's just worried at Teddy falling over and taking part of the limbo setup with him. The guy's a klutz :D

Predictably, Davin was appalled and outraged at finding out that their Founder was a werewolf, but Nate was quick to take him down a peg.
Nate: "Felix Leaadderrrr. What yoouu done forrr town laaaat'ly?"

And for Lily, poor endlessly harrassed Lily, that was the last straw. Davin could try and bully her all he wanted, but badmouthing her husband? That deserves a small breach of the code of Good Witches.

Davin spent the rest of the party thinking he was a chicken, to the glee of many of those present. Felix had Lily turn him back afterwards, which she did reluctantly. If he wants to be so cocky all the time...

The party went on until the early hours of the night, and what with Felix' werewolf thing the wedding night turned out to be a wedding morning. Not that Lily seems to mind :D
Sorry for the longish update and the wedding pic spam ^^ Hope you enjoyed!
