Nate and Anna have moved out into a house of their own. There just wasn't enough space in the old house, what with Ivy and Rose moving in with Teddy.
Teddy has been a bit anxious about Nate moving out, but Nate pointed out that he is the older brother around here. He can take care of himself just fine. It's not because he's differently alive that he's the equivalent of a child that needs looking after. Maybe it was like that the first months after he came back from the dead, but he feels a lot more like his old self nowadays.
Besides, having his own house means more privacy for some hot robot smooching.

Nate has started up a new homebusiness, this one catering to the new visitors that the town is getting nowadays. Nate is currently the only owner of a television in town, and has decided to charge a small fee for anyone that wants to come inside and veg out in front of the screen for a while after a long day of adventuring.

Anna has taken it on herself to convince potential customers that some quality time in front of the television is exactly what they need.
Anna: "...that's nine *beep* channels, plus a nice, squishy couch to sit back and relax in."
Townie: "Hmmm... how squishy would you say this couch is?"
Anna: "Oh, definitely squishy *bzzzt*. So squishy, you might need assistance to extract yourself from its bear-like embrace."

The concept seems to work pretty well, even if they don't earn a lot of money from the low entrance fees. That's not important though, getting customer stars is. With those, the business will go up in ranks and Anna and Nate will get the monetary perks that comes with it, so they can save up to start a proper business in Spring.

One of the customers tried to set up Anna with a blind date, and she accepted. (Dates don't have to be romantic after all, and making connections with as many people as possible is good business practice) Much to my surprise, Davin Greengrass, the town grouch, was dumped from the sky in front of her. I didn't think he'd be back on the market quite that soon. Or altogether on this particular market.

Davin: "Uh, when my mate told me it was a blind date, I didn't think he meant I'd have to be blind to go through with it."
Anna: "Anna thinks you're rude. *Boop* You can leave now.

Nate is quick to re-establish any confidence Anna might have lost in her encounter with Davin :)

Nate: "Whaat you saayy we take this upstaaairrrrs, my silverrr-hued beauty?"
Anna: *giggle*

Robot/Zombie woohoo brings up all sorts of questions, all of which I'm most determined to squash right down again.

Nate has been working on his speech, trying to iron out the zombie slur and up the smarm a bit. A good businessman needs to be charismatic, after all.

While Nate and Anna got up to some more canoodling, I noticed a brand new flirt option that Nate got with Anna, 'Tune Up'. What?
And what are you planning to do with that screwdriver, Nate? oO

I'm speechless, frankly.

Looks like Anna appreciates Nate's mechanical ministrations. You two are so weird.

Anna recharging just looks so pretty <3 The picture doesn't quite do the northern lights-style effect justice. That glow above her shimmers in a myriad of colours. It's so shiny!

Nate's invited over his brother and family for sunday dinner. He wants to look his best, so he can prove that he's coping on his own just fine. Not that he thinks he really needs to prove anything, but it'll put Teddy at ease.
Nate: "Only mooderrrraat'ly mossy. It'll haaave to dooo."

The visitors arrive, and Nate is quick to whisk away Ivy for some uncle/niece time. He really dotes on her, and it's such a crying shame he probably won't be able to have any children of his own. Robots can't conceive as far as I'm aware, and I don't really want to adopt for the sake of non-templatey genetics... Conundrum :(

Teddy: "You spoil her, Nate. She'll be expecting this much attention all the time soon."
Nate: "She's my oooonly niece, unless yooouuu lot hurrryy up and get herrrr a sibling."
Teddy: *shuts his trap*

Allright, enough cutesy spam ^^

Nate and Teddy roughousing a bit while Anna takes care of dinner.
Nate: "Yooou punch like a giirrrrl."
Teddy: "Don't let Rose hear you, she's got a mean left hook on her."

Nate gushing over Anna's cooking :) A nice family meal was had by all, as good an end to this week as any.
That's it for Week 3! I'll be posting an updated castlist shortly, with the town stats, for anyone who's interested.
