It doesn't make much sense that you need a phone to open a homebusiness (seriously, just put some stuff for sale and off you go), so I usually just buy the phone, open the business, then sell the phone. I'm not considering it one of the prohibited functions of the no electronics/running water rule.

I'm running into the same problem as you with the medical stuff right now. I used to get flu epidemics like nobody's business, mostly related to trashcans being kicked over by strays. This hood, not a cough or sniffly nose to be seen. Not really sure how to address that one myself, any suggestions are welcome :)
