Last week the Fenwick family celebrated the toddler transition of the twins, Fox and Freesia. Felix and Lily both were caught up in their parental duties, and had little time to spare for a career or business. Progress in the Political career has been very slow for Felix, because of his busy homelife. He'll need to start moving up the ranks a bit quicker though, as he's not getting any younger...

Despite his age, he's still a fine-looking gentleman :)


 

His lovely wife Lily hasn't been unaffected by time either, but is growing old graciously as well.



Fox and Freesia had their child transitions unaided by any cake or party, because I still can't keep up with those damn birthdays. They both look a lot like their dad, even more so than Flora does.



Freesia looking peeved at having to do the dishes on her birthday. Sorry, kiddo. You can really see the resemblance to Felix in her face here.



Fox will be a heartbreaker once he grows up, I'm pretty sure :) He's very handsome for a child. I'm getting totally spoiled with all these great genes in town.



With the twins finally of school age, Lily has been able to open her own business! This is the Pottery Barn, where she sells her ceramic creations.



Only the pottery she crafted is for sale, the rest just sits there for show as otherwise the place looked quite empty. Without a connection to Downtown, Sims can't sell anything they haven't crafted themselves, after all.



Lily schmoozing her first customer :) Running the Pottery Barn is a bit hectic as Lily has to do everything herself, but once Flora grows into a teenager, she'll be able to help out after school hours.



Speaking of witch which...



Flora: "Oh my goodness, I'm farting sparkles! Whatever can this mean?!"



Yep, as well as growing up into a gorgeous young lady, Flora has inherited her mother's witchy genes! :D My supernatural Sims' offspring have a 50/50 chance of inheriting their parent's traits. Flora missed out on Felix' lycantrophy, but it's lovely to have another witch in the family.



I really love Flora, especially her nose, which she got from her dad. She studies very diligently and is often found glued to the chessboard, so while she rolled Popularity as her aspiration (perhaps not surprising, with two Popularity parents?), I gave her Knowledge as secondary aspiration.
To my delight and surprise, she rolled the LTW to become Mayor! Looks like Felix has an heir :)

The twins trying to keep on top of their homework. They get help from Flora occasionally, but it's still difficult to keep up with all the work, and their grades have been suffering lately.



Halfway through the week, Felix had his elder transition. The party was an understated affair, with only the adults invited. Felix growing into an elder really marks the end of an era, as it won't be long now before I'll have to say goodbye to my beloved Founder :( Let's not dwell on that just yet though.



Theodore: "I think we should all pull together to erect a statue in Felix' honour, what do you say guys?"
Felix: "Oh Teddy, don't be ridiculous..."
Arthur: "Actually, I think that's a great idea, Felix. Think of everything you've done for this town! Right, Nate?"
Nate: "Rrriiightt. Got me my pub. Deserrrves a statue in itseeellf!"
Fox: "I think it'd be pretty cool, dad..."
Felix: "Allright, stop this statue nonsense!"



Davin got himself an invite as well, seeing as he proved willingness to change. He behaved very well indeed, and seemed to enjoy himself horsing around with Felix.



Felix: "Raaarr!"
Myra: "No, sorry Felix, the grey hair just makes you look fluffy, not intimidating."
Felix: "Ahw" :(



At least Lily still thinks the world of him :)



The morning after the party brings Felix a bit of a shock though.

Felix: "Ugh! I didn't feel nearly as old with my face covered in fur..."







Wensley is over the moon that he finally has a male friend to play with. All those girls are so weird, and they never want to play catch. Fox is a lot more fun to hang out with!



Fox has also made the acquaintance of Stephen Greengrass, who has been hanging around his house a lot lately for some reason.

Stephen: "Oh goodness, look out of the window! A purple flying unicorn!"
Fox: "I can't see any... heeeeeyy!"



Sunday doubled as both Town Gathering day, as well as Lily's birthday party. Felix surprised her with a lavish garden party to which everyone in town was invited. Birthday picspam ahoy!









Felix had a DJ booth brought over from the nearest city, and the partygoers displayed their fabulous dancemoves.











Nate clearly thinks the dancers are a bunch of loonies :P



Nate and Rose prefer blowing bubbles over stretching their legs. To the left you can see Stephen, who only appears in this picture I think. Naturally, he's making fun of the dancers :P



Something must have upset Hanners, because she was running around all distressed and crying :( Luckily daddy Davin took it upon himself to comfort his daughter. Point to you, Dav.









Aren't you a bit young to be drinking punch, Fox?!



Some of the guests retreated inside the house, away from the hustle and bustle of the main party.

Flora *whispered*: "He's sooooo gorgeous!"
Cordelia: "Sssshhh, he's going to hear us!" *giggle*
