Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
And tell you how I became the warlock of a town called Riverside Hollow (okay that doesn't rhyme, work with me here)
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
And tell you how I became the warlock of a town called Riverside Hollow (okay that doesn't rhyme, work with me here)

East of the river born and raised
On the farm is where I spent most of my days
Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool,
And all getting up to evil outside of school

With a couple of guys who were up to no good
I started making magic in my neighborhood

I cast one little spell and my mom got scared
And said "You're moving in with your dad, get out of here!"

They begged and pleaded with me day after day,
But I refused to make the creepy crawlies go away
The old man yelled 'get your butt out of here before I kick it!'
But I just laughed and told him where he could stick it

So beware of me, only whisper my name!
You shall know me by the trail of cockroaches, and torrential rain
My hat is pointy and my boots are curled
And one day I'm sure to take over the world!

As you might have derived from Stephen's awful attempt at... whatever that was, the Greengrass family kicked him and his witchy girlfriend out of the house, after he'd been making a nuisance of himself with his spells. The Greengrass homestead is a lot sunnier with him gone, and delightfully bug-free.

Victor has been great at trying to become a worthy part of the family. Which in this case, means watering the beans. Not exactly a fulfilling mental activity for a Knowledge sim like him, but on a farm everyone has to pull their weight.

He's also put some work in becoming a part of the family in a legal sense :) Wedding pic spam, ahoy!

Stephen and Yue were invited, despite their magical shenanigans, but ignored the entire ceremony in favour of canoodling underneath the apple trees.
Happy times indeed, but a shadow was soon to fall over Cordelia and Victor's newly-wedded bliss...

As if to make the whole experience as painful as possible, Grimmy came to fetch Myra for the Great Cruise in the Sky at the worst possible time: while she was taking out the trash in her old lady jammies.

She seemed okay with the idea after some persuading, but I was most assuredly not. Myra was my first settler to die :(
I'm just... words are failing me. Nate, if you could take over please? Touching bit of poetry, perhaps?

"Therrre once was a woman named Myrrra
Who was our fair town's providerrrrr
She died out on the lawn
Not even wearin' a drrressing gown
I don' rrreally know what to say eitherrr."
Remind me to keep you far away from the obituaries from now on, Nate.

But after every tragedy, life picks up sooner or later. Hannah has been throwing herself into her schoolwork (which requires a lot of effort, seeing as no one has taught her how to do it). It's paying off though, and for the first time in her life she's getting good grades.
You'd think her mom, also being her teacher, would express a little more interest in her school career.

Cordelia and Victor have some happy tidings of their own.
Victor: "I caught a fish!"
I was referring to your wife's pregnancy, but well done Vic, well done.

Hannah: "Dude, you got FAT!"

Hannah: "...so when I hit my adult transition, I was thinking of travelling around for a while before I settle down. I was talking about it with Fox Fenwick, and he reckons that..."
Parker: "That's nice dear. Now, Delia, I was thinking cream yellow for the baby's room, and maybe lace curtains. We could ask Violet if she could make us a deal on those, she's been doing marvellous sewing work at that shop of hers..."
Hannah: "ARGH!"

Has anyone else ever noticed that during the birth cinematic, the pregnant lady's baby-bump disappears? Before she's actually given birth?

World, meet Emily Greengrass! She's got her mother's black hair and green eyes, and as the eldest daughter is set to be heir of the Greengrass farm.
That's all for this update, thanks for reading! :)
