Random Stuff: Alien Sims  
I've been thinking of maybe doing my own multi-PT hack, so I smushed together some alien sims and took them for a breeding-test ride out in Strangetown.

Not too bad, if I do say so myself. I'm not sure I like this lighting mod I downloaded though (gunmod 2.4), it seems to give such harsh shadows. Uncertain if I will keep it or not... What do you guys think?

I'm intrigued about Lola's spawn eyes, though, are they coming from recessive genes perhaps? (I know I've played around with recessive genes in many of these sims, but can't remember about Lola's atm)

Nervous and Pascal's children look almost just like their parents, but green. So cute! ^_^

I'm not sure about that one myself, it boggled me. I imagine she has recessive brown eyes from her father, but that doesn't really explain why her daughter didn't get the alien eyes, as none of the aliens I created have recessive genes, and therefore any spawn should get the black alien eyes.
Maybe it's something to do with my geneticised eyes, I don't know.

All the spawn are adults in their pictures, right? If not, then the brown eyes might come from the maxis glitch where the alien eye isn't set up right for teens so it goes to brown.

Hm nope, she's adult. All the other brown eyed sims had brown eyed offspring though, it seems to completely trump the black alien eyes in terms of genetics. Maybe just a quirk the game threw up. Who knows :)

Nice. I like that the PTs aren't too pretty (and only 2 have pointy ears--I like pointy ears in moderation, so it stays "special").

I like PT9 in the background of #59's pic. He's not sure what he thinks of this development (especially his wife getting in on the action!).

Are they sporting custom eyebrows? I love how tiny they are.

Yep those are custom eyebrows, I use a set that has been maxismatched so it doesn't look too out of place. I thought my aliens looked a bit too normal, and the teensy eyebrows seemed to fit them :)

I hadn't even noticed that PT 9 had sneaked in to watch the proceedings :D He doesn't look very pleased, does he?
